Privacy policy

How Backcom VN collects, uses and protects your personal data.

This page explains what data Backcom VN collects, what we use it for, and what rights you have. We have tried to keep it short and plain rather than circling the point.

What we collect

When you only read the site

The server records the usual technical details: IP address, browser type, which pages you viewed and when. This is standard web-server logging, used to operate the site and diagnose faults.

When you leave a comment

We store the name, email address and comment text you enter. The email address is not displayed publicly.

When you contact us

Over Telegram, Zalo or email, we keep the conversation and whatever information you choose to give us (an account UID, for example) in order to handle your request.

Cookies

The site uses cookies sparingly:

  • Language cookie — remembers whether you chose Vietnamese or English, stored for 30 days. It contains no personal information.
  • Comment cookies — set by WordPress, remembering your name and email so you need not retype them.

You can delete or block cookies in your browser settings. The site still works; it simply will not remember your language choice.

What we use the data for

  • Running the website and showing content in the language you chose.
  • Answering your support requests.
  • Processing account linking and calculating rebates.
  • Understanding which content is useful, so we can improve it.

What we never do

  • We do not sell your personal data to third parties.
  • We do not ask for your trading account password. Nobody at Backcom VN has any legitimate reason to ask for it — if someone does, it is a scam.
  • We do not request access to your account or the ability to withdraw from it.

Sharing with third parties

To calculate and pay rebates, your account UID is reconciled against the relevant broker’s system. That is the minimum data the rebate mechanism needs to function.

The site loads typefaces from Google Fonts; when it does, your browser connects to Google’s servers and your IP address may be recorded on their side.

Your rights

You may ask to see, correct or delete the personal data we hold about you. Send the request to support@backcom.io and we will deal with it within a reasonable period.

Security

The site runs over HTTPS. We apply reasonable technical measures to protect data, but as with any online service, absolute security cannot be guaranteed.

Changes to this policy

This policy may be updated. The current version is always the one shown on this page.
