Market analysis

How gold (XAU/USD) and EUR/USD actually trade: the hours that work in Vietnamese time, the real cost of a trade, and the data releases that move them most.

This section does not forecast prices. It describes how each instrument behaves: what moves it, when it moves in Vietnamese time, roughly how wide its daily range runs, and where the cost of trading it sits. That kind of information holds from week to week and stays useful, unlike a view on direction.

The way to use it is to read the article on the instrument you intend to trade before your first order in it. Each one answers the same set of questions: contract size and how to turn movement into money, what actually moves the price, the data releases worth following, the hours with real liquidity, and the costs specific to that market. Gold, crude oil, the major currency pairs and the US indices each have a different set of answers.

One habit is worth carrying through the whole section: do not move position size and stop distance across from the instrument you know to the one you are trying. For the same number of lots, the money per unit of price movement can differ several times over between a major pair and gold. Every calculation has to be redone from that instrument's own contract size — which is why every article here starts there.
