Forex rebates: all 8 brokers compared

A rebate is the part of your trading fee that comes back to you after the trade has executed. Below are the rates, payout cycles and destinations for all 8 brokers Backcom VN supports — read from the same data source as each individual broker page, so the two can never disagree.

Rebate per standard lot

Ordered by published figure, highest first. These figures are not directly comparable across brokers, because the underlying fee differs — read them together with the notes column.

Broker Rebate Model Worth knowing
EC Markets rebates $38 per standard lot ECN Rate depends on the signup link — the higher-paying one carries a wider spread.

For per-symbol figures (XAUUSD, EURUSD, oil, indices and so on) see the broker’s own page, or the per-symbol comparison table — four of the eight publish a per-symbol table, the other four publish a single blended rate.

Payout cycle and destination, at a glance

Every broker pays into a different place, and not all of them pay daily. The table below is the quick lookup; the detailed comparison also covers what each destination costs you.

One broker, several links, several rates

The most common reason a rebate comes in lower than expected: signing up through one link type, then calculating with another’s rate. Pick the link type BEFORE opening the account — changing later usually means opening a new one.

Forex rebate FAQ

01 What is a forex rebate?

It is the part of your trading fee that is paid back to you after the trade has executed. Backcom is an official Introducing Broker partner of each venue: we receive a commission on the volume you trade, then hand most of it back to you instead of keeping it. It moves your cost column, not your profit column. The full mechanism is explained here.

02 Which broker pays the most?

In the table above, EC Markets shows the highest published figure: $38 per standard lot. But per-lot figures are not directly comparable across brokers, because the underlying fee differs — and at 5 of the 8 brokers the top rate only comes through a registration link with a wider spread. Choose on the total cost left after the rebate, not on the rebate figure. The three layers that make the top figure misleading.

03 Do losing trades still earn a rebate?

Yes. Rebates are calculated on traded volume, not on profit. Winning and losing trades both generate fees, and both are rebated at the broker's applicable rate.

04 Does it cost anything, or change my spread?

Backcom itself is free: no signup fee, no maintenance fee, no minimum deposit. Spreads depend on the broker — Exness, XM and IC Markets keep your trading conditions unchanged, while the other five offer several link types where the higher-paying one carries a wider spread. The link-type table above spells each one out.

05 How soon does the money arrive?

Most brokers pay daily; IC Markets pays weekly. Where it lands also differs: some credit your trading account directly, some their own wallet, some your Backcom VN wallet to withdraw to a bank. A full eight-broker comparison, and what each destination costs you.

06 What if I already have an account?

It depends on the broker. Some allow an existing account to be moved to a new IB, others require a fresh account under the referral link. Message support with your UID and we will check that broker's policy and guide you.
